CHHA Training
A 50% deposit is required upon enrollment. The final payment is due before taking your clinical.
76 Hours total with 60 hours to be completed online and a two-day clinical.
There is an $80 fee payment made directly to BON after the course has been completed.
Course Requirements:
- You will need a computer with access to the internet to complete the online version of the course.
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- All applicants must be either a U.S. citizens or legal alien qualified to work in the U.S.
- All applicants must have the ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- All applicants must be physically capable of participating in class work such as lifting, transferring patients out of bed, giving bed baths, and many more.
- The NJ Board of Nursing requires that all applicants pass a criminal background check and be fingerprinted as a part of the application process.

- Passports for US citizens
- Social Security Card
- For Non-Citizens: you will need a copy of your permanent resident card or work authorization card.
- A full-face original passport photograph (2” x 2”) of your head and shoulders.
CNA TO CHHA Bridge
12 Hours Online
There is an $80 fee payment made directly to BON after the courses have been completed for the processing of the application.
Course Requirements:
- You must have an active NJ CNA license to take this conversion course.
- You will need a computer with access to the internet to complete the training course.
- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
- All applicants must be either a U.S. citizens or legal alien qualified to work in the U.S.
- All applicants must have the ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
- All applicants must be must be physically capable of participating in class work such as lifting, transferring patients out of bed, giving bed baths, aiding transfers for those with limited mobility, and other patient related care.
- The NJ Board of Nursing requires that all applicants be current on child support obligations, not be in default of student loans, not been convicted on any “Disqualifying Crimes”.
- The NJ Board of Nursing requires that all applicants pass a criminal background check and be fingerprinted as a part of the application process.
